Who we are

We’ve built an inclusive, collaborative culture where people thrive, developing rewarding careers in the built environment across a whole range of disciplines.

Our values shape how we work and what we bring to the table. Adding value for our clients every day.

Values

01

Positivity

It’s what we bring to everything we do, from our interactions with each other and our clients to our impact on the wider world. We’re continually working to make good things happen, for everyone.

02

Curiosity

We’re open minded problem solvers – creative, innovative thinkers who aren’t afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo to unlock new opportunities for our clients.

03

Ambition

We’ve got our sights set on the future – on the business we can become, on the projects we can make possible and on the ways we can shape, evolve and improve the world around us.

Our projects take us all over the UK, but day to day, our team works from five locations – London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester and Bristol. Light, bright, contemporary spaces in the heart of thriving cities, they’re welcoming places to work together.

Diversity, equity & inclusion

There’s a real DEI challenge in the construction industry, and we’re rising to it. We’re proud to be an equal opportunities employer, promoting diversity, inclusion and fairness through our policies, practices, hiring processes and team development.

But we’re constantly pushing ourselves to do more. To question the way we approach our people and projects, and to promote a positive work-life balance, rewarding careers and a healthy, happy team.

Making a positive impact

It’s not every job that gives you the opportunity to help build a stronger, more sustainable future – and it’s a responsibility we take seriously.

As a team, we’re working hard towards our environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals. It’s a continuous journey and we know there’s more to do, but we’re determined to keep making progress and be transparent with our people, clients and stakeholders.

We have a designated ESG leadership team, led by James O’Keeffe and supported by hub champions who encourage hands-on involvement across the business. Together, they make sure we’re working in line with UN Sustainable Development Goals, and that everyone at Pulse knows what we’re aiming for – and how they can play their part.
