Tom Howells

Tom is a highly motivated, passionate director with cross-sector experience including education, healthcare, residential and manufacturing. Before joining Pulse, he worked for a large global consultancy and several well-known blue-chip organisations, helping drive high-profile, high-value projects and building both consultancy and client-side experience.

Tom’s more recent focus has been healthcare and education, and he’s currently delivering multi-million pound projects supporting communities across Nottinghamshire. These include the Community Diagnostic Centre in Mansfield, the Rushcliffe Spencer Academy school expansion in West Bridgford and the re-cladding of high-rise buildings in Leicester. 

Professionally trained in project management, Tom adds value for his clients by focusing on stakeholder interaction, collaborative relationships, and active risk management.

Outside of project delivery, he manages our East Midlands hub and is jointly responsible for over £2.5m of turnover across the region, leading a team of more than 20, and driving several key frameworks for the business. He’s also been instrumental in Pulse achieving ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations, and the Investors in People Gold Award.

Away from work, Tom enjoys spending time with his family and focusing on smaller scale projects, including renovating his house and trying to improve his golf game.
