James Peake

James joined Pulse Consult back in 2016, when we were a small but ambitious six-person team. He’s been an active board member ever since, helping to build our business into a thriving SME with a turnover in excess of £8m, a team of over 80, five hubs across the UK and plans to double in size in the coming years.

An experienced chartered professional with over 20 years’ experience, James has also worked contractor, client and developer side, as well as leading a department within a local authority. His experience covers a wide range of sectors, including successfully delivering large-scale residential, commercial, education, arts, heritage and mixed-use schemes.

James has built his career on consistently achieving his clients’ goals. Respected for his extensive sector knowledge and hands-on project management style, he fosters a collaborative working environment between stakeholders and project teams, supporting and motivating his colleagues to deliver complex projects successfully. 

Away from work, James enjoys sport, travel and being active. He’s also a coach for his twin boys’ local football team.
