Andrew Thorne

Andy is a results-driven Director with extensive expertise in PMO and Project Controls. He currently leads Pulse’s UK and EMEA Project Controls service, overseeing large-scale programmes and projects for our key pharmaceutical clients with a portfolio value in the hundreds of millions. With his extended experience spanning multiple sectors, including defence, water, rail, highways, real estate, and manufacturing.

Recognised as an innovative leader, Andy is known for building and guiding high-performing teams, challenging conventional practices, and driving improvements. 

Andy’s mix of strategic insight, technical expertise, and collaborative style enables him to deliver measurable value for clients while helping Pulse set new standards in programme delivery, making him a key part of the Pulse leadership team.

Away from work, Andy is a proud dad to two young daughters. After a lifetime of playing rugby, he has recently discovered a new passion for golf.
