Alexander Jenner

Alex is an Associate Director in our London office, where he leads varied projects across London and the South East, with a particular focus on the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) sector. Combining consultancy expertise with client-side development experience, Alex brings a logical mindset and commercially driven approach to delivering successful projects from inception through to completion.

Since joining Pulse, Alex has led the delivery of numerous high-value residential and mixed-use developments, including PBSA, co-living and build-to-rent schemes ranging from £10 million to over £130 million. He has extensive experience advising clients throughout the entire development lifecycle, from feasibility studies and development appraisals through to planning, procurement, delivery and handover. His previous client-side roles have provided valuable insight into the commercial realities of development, enabling him to offer practical, strategic advice that supports successful project outcomes. He has also been seconded as Development Manager at the University of East London, where he is helping to deliver an ambitious project aiming to become one of the UK's most sustainable academic buildings.

Alongside his project responsibilities, Alex plays a key role in the growth of our London office. He manages resource planning, supports the financial performance of the team and is passionate about developing future talent through line management and mentoring. As an RICS mentor and counsellor, he actively supports colleagues working towards chartership, while also driving business development and encouraging a strong networking culture across the team through regular attendance at industry events, including Movers & Shakers and LD Events.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys keeping active through sport and fitness, travelling to experience different cultures and cuisines, and making the most of the festival season whenever he can.
