Janssen Project Pollux

Viral vector technology is a key component of CAR-T therapy and our client, Janssen Pharmaceutica, wanted to create a new lenti-viral vector manufacturing facility in the Netherlands, to meet the demands of its expanding European CAR-T programme.

Building on our strong track record in life sciences construction and well-established relationship with Janssen, we established a team of experienced construction consultants to help deliver this strategically important project. 

We’ve worked closely with the client right from the outset, paving the way for the creation of a brand new business entity in a new location, and preparing for the smooth relocation of Janssen’s existing team.

When it’s complete, the new 9,000m² LVV facility will give Janssen the capacity to deliver over 80 lenti-viral batches per each year, to enable commercial scale up. It will feature a cutting-edge ISO 14644 Class 7 clean room, CL2 lab and general lab, along with write-up space for Janssen’s team. 

Our Pulse Consult experts will be supporting the client all the way, overseeing equipment move-in, validation of the clean rooms and relocation of their cell technology business to the new site.
