About the role

The Project Coordinator will provide a supporting role on all cost and project management functions.

The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of construction projects by coordinating activities, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring effective communication between project teams, clients, and other stakeholders. You will be expected to manage your own time effectively and coordinate project team members to ensure that workflow stays on schedule.

This role is ideal for a proactive individual with excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong interest in the construction industry.

About you

Expected experience:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar Project Coordinator or Administrative role, ideally within a construction, engineering, or consultancy environment
  • Understanding of the professional service and/or building/property industry (Desirable)
  • Demonstrate ability to create bespoke documentation to a high level

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective communicator, able to maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Flexible, results driven and able to maintain a diverse workload
  • Ability to efficiently proof-read and edit documents to ensure accurate grammar and a consistent standard
  • Willingness to learn and develop in the role

Job responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to project teams across multiple disciplines
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure accurate records of discussions and action points
  • Support the management of project budgets, tracking expenditure and raising purchase orders as required
  • Act as a central point of contact for project-related correspondence, documentation, and communication between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, reports, and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements, working closely with principal designers and health and safety consultants
  • Use project management tools and software to maintain accurate and up-to-date project information
  • Gather and prepare content for social media posts, coordinating with project teams to collect relevant project information
  • Assist in the preparation of bids, tenders, and fee proposals
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers

  • Relevant Degree or equivalent (Desirable)

The details

Primarily working in the Nottingham office, the role will also involve working with the teams across our other hubs in London, Birmingham, Leicester and Bristol.
