Health & Safety Advisor Nottingham
About this role
If you're searching for health and safety advisor jobs with a company that genuinely empowers its people, a role at Pulse could be exactly what you're looking for.
Our health and safety advisor, based in Nottingham, will play an essential role in supporting multiple construction projects from their earliest stages through to completion. As part of our capable, growing team, you'll work closely with our health and safety and project management specialists, with guidance and mentoring from our senior leadership team.
During pre-construction, the health and safety advisor will plan, manage and coordinate all health and safety activity – identifying risks and ensuring compliance before work begins on site. As projects progress, you'll provide ongoing guidance on regulatory compliance and best practice, helping teams maintain safe, effective working environments at every stage.
You will be expected to manage your own time effectively, balancing project deliverables against chargeable fees to ensure the quality of service our clients expect. You will also be encouraged to devote time to business development – generating new clients and helping to develop new services for both existing and prospective clients across the construction sector.
This role will involve travel to project sites and client locations across the UK. As such, a degree of flexibility and willingness to travel is essential. In return, this offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects and environments, gaining valuable experience within different sectors.
