Director

Paul is director of our Leicester office, and a highly respected member of the Pulse team. He has a strong commercial background, having worked as a quantity surveyor, delivering multimillion pound projects for national contractors for over 20 years. He also has almost 15 years’ cross-sector experience in project management.

An NEC4-accredited project manager, Paul has a reputation for his contractual expertise, as well as his ability to manage risk and solve complex issues. He manages design teams and contractors firmly but fairly, always representing client and stakeholder interests.

Paul is extremely proud to be our framework director and account manager for the Leicester City Council project management framework, delivering local projects and being part of major developments in his beloved home town.

He plays an active part in community engagement as director of ProCon Leicestershire and previously as regional and national board chair of RICS Matrics. He also takes CSR at Pulse very seriously, clearing allotments and decorating SEND classrooms at Leicester schools.

Away from work, Paul has a black belt in Kyokushin karate and represented Great Britain at the European knockdown championships in Barcelona. He now spends his time a little less actively, refereeing grassroots football and supporting Leicester City FC.
