Due to company growth, Pulse are seeking a Head of Marketing to join our team! 

Job Overview:

As the Head of Marketing at our progressive consultancy firm, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to elevate our brand presence, attract new clients, and foster lasting relationships with existing clients. You will report directly into the Managing Director and your exceptional leadership, innovative thinking, and in-depth understanding of marketing trends will be instrumental in driving our company's growth and positioning us as a leading player in the industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Marketing Planning: Develop and implement a results-driven marketing plan aligned with the overall business objectives. Identify target markets, key customer segments, and competitive positioning strategies to maximize our market share.
• Brand Management: Establish and maintain a strong brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visuals across all marketing collateral, online platforms, and promotional activities.
• Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website optimization, SEO/SEM, email campaigns, social media, content marketing, and paid advertising, to drive lead generation and online visibility.
• Thought Leadership: Foster a culture of thought leadership within the organization by coordinating content creation, industry insights, and expert opinions to showcase our consultancy's expertise.
• Marketing Communications: Craft compelling marketing materials, presentations, case studies, and proposals that effectively communicate our value propositions to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Event and PR Management: Plan and execute marketing events, webinars, conferences, and PR initiatives to enhance brand recognition and industry presence.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and areas for growth.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the team to align marketing efforts with sales targets and provide necessary support in client acquisition and retention.
• Budget Management: Efficiently manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for various marketing initiatives and measuring ROI on marketing investments.
• Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to maximize individual and team performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing
• Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the consulting industry or professional services.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and brand recognition.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Leadership qualities to inspire and guide the marketing and senior leadership team effectively.
• Innovative mindset and ability to adapt to changing market dynamics.
• A deep understanding of the consultancy and or construction landscape and knowledge of industry best practices.
• Proficient use of InDesign or similar software to create marketing collateral would be a preference.

Location

The role is Full Time and office based. Whilst our head office is in Nottingham we have offices in Birmingham and London where the role can be delivered from. In total we have five offices across the England and the role will involve travelling to support each of those hubs (approximately once a month).
