Pulse Consult now working with Hinckley Academy and John Cleveland Sixth Form Centre
We have recently been appointed as Quantity Surveyor on the summer works programme for campus improvements.
Hinckley Academy and John Cleveland Sixth Form Centre is a mainstream, state funded senior school for boys & girls in Hinckley, Leicestershire. It prides itself on providing the very best opportunities and experiences for young people on an extensive campus offering enviable facilities which supports a broad and exciting curriculum.
This project will provide much needed welcome and teaching spaces that will ultimately support and encourage collaborative learning between students and members of the support team.
In overview, the project entails remodelling, and refurbishment of various existing rooms and corridors split over three locations of the campus to create a new home for the music and languages departments. Additionally, a new-build extension will be formed off the main entrance, this will provide a welcoming environment for visitors whilst creating a useable and desirable space for the administration teams to operate. Works are also to include a small section of external works by way of a new stepped and ramped access to the main entrance, extensions to the existing fence line and some light touch soft landscaping to the building perimeter.
Works are due to commence on site in June and will conclude by September 2018, in time for the new academic year.
